Heather Hatcher Yoga

We are focused on helping people manage joint pain blending science-backed methods with mindful, accessible movement for lasting relief, renewed mobility, and a deep sense of inner calm.

Owner & Founder, Dr. Heather Hatcher, is an RYT 200+ level teacher and certified breath coach. Yoga started as an activity towards a healthier lifestyle and turned into a deep passion and healing modality for her painful carpal tunnel syndrome. She completed her YTT at the Asheville Yoga Center as well as Kundalini Awakening under Gloria Latham. Heather is deeply passionate about using yoga to promote safe, strong movement and long-lasting flexibility. She's dedicated to making yoga inclusive and accessible through creative sequencing and anatomical knowledge. Her work offers a practical and spiritual path to sustainable relief—through movement and breath practices designed to restore strength and function, not just mask symptoms.

Off the mat, Heather spent 25 years as a research scientist and is a consultant in the biomedical industry having received her PhD in molecular & cellular biology & pathobiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. She lives in North Carolina with her husband Hampton and their menagerie of beloved rescue pets!
